Shared passion for horses and their incredible therapeutic potential
At Equintervention, we bring together a wealth of experience from diverse backgrounds in the military, education, and training, united by our shared passion for horses and their incredible therapeutic potential. With years of experience working in mental health services, we recognized that Equine Facilitated Learning (EFL), sometimes referred to as Equine Assisted Learning, offers a unique and powerful approach to personal growth and healing. We knew this was something special we could bring not just to the stable—but to the table!
Our journey led us to re-home three wonderful ponies from the Margaret Green Animal Rescue in West Dorset—Chelsea Girl, Tiger Lily, and Brandy Snap, who are affectionately known as our "hugs on hooves." Each of these ponies has their own unique story, and through them, we’ve discovered the profound impact that horses can have on the human experience. They have taught us invaluable lessons in self-discovery and emotional insight, shaping our approach to Equine Facilitated Learning from the ground up—starting with the horse and working our way to the human.
As a registered Community Interest Company (CIC), Equintervention is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of others through our work. We are proud to be accredited for CPD Equine Facilitated Learning Practitioner Training, ensuring that our programs not only meet the highest standards but also contribute meaningfully to professional development.
Our courses are held in the beautiful surroundings of Bridport, West Dorset, where we invite you to join us and experience the transformative power of Equine Facilitated Learning. Whether you're seeking personal growth, professional training, or simply a new way to connect with yourself and others, Equintervention offers a supportive and nurturing environment where you can thrive.
